About the role:

This is a newly created position and a pivotal role within the company's software development ecosystem. The Golang Developer will be responsible for:

• Design, develop and deploy backend services with focus on high availability, low latency,

and scalability

• Translate complex geospatial algorithms into high performance production software
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an

autonomous, cross-functional team

• Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team

The successful candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following critiera:

• 2 to 5 years of Software development experience in Go (Golang) is required.
• Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development,

Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software
systems, and/or security software development

• Basic understanding of Python and/or JavaScript is ideal
• Experience developing microservice infrastructure is ideal
• Experience developing systems to utilise Machine Learning or complex algorithm

services is favourable

• Experience working with deployed ‘IoT’ networked device is very favourable
